Trying to act like I am chillin', maxin' and relaxin'.

As much as I wish "chillin' out, maxin' and relaxin'" was how I spent most of my days, with a personal mantra of “Humbly Hustle” coupled with a driven and determined nature, I have kept busy from a very young age.
I graduated from The University of Kansas (KU) in 2019 with a degree in journalism with an emphasis in strategic communication and a minor in film and media studies. During my time at KU, I had the opportunity to get involved in many different aspects of campus life. I served as a Social Media Assistant for Kansas Athletics Inc. where I had the chance to work for one of the strongest division-one collegiate sport programs in the nation. Between class and my internship, I also served on the Journalism Student Leadership Board for the William Allen White School of Journalism, the Diversity and Inclusion subcommittee and did freelance design and branding work.
As for the whole chillin' out and relaxin' part, I make a point to balance work with play. Some of my hobbies include reading, traveling and Netflix-binging. On top of those activities, I like to take pictures and play volleyball and soccer.
I come from a family of four made up of three other amazing people whom I draw inspiration from on a daily basis. I currently reside in New York City working as a Copywriter for McCann Health New York.
